The PAP-IMI machine:
The PAP-IMI machine is a high-tech, electromagnetic therapeutic device which offers non-invasive therapy. It was invented by a Greek physicist and mathematician, Dr Panos Pappas. (PAP-IMI: “PAP” for Pappas; “IMI” = Ionic Magnetic Induction).
The PAPIMI device creates a pulsed electromagnetic field which is applied to different parts of the body. It may help to stimulate and activate the normal healing process, including the growth and repair of tissue. PAPIMI therapy works with the body, stimulating the body’s own ability to heal itself.

How Does the PAPIMI Work?
Every cell in the body has an electrical charge, emitting an electrical signal. Disease, injury or aging can disrupt these signals, and when tissues are stressed, the cells’ electrical signal decreases. As a result, the body is unable to repair the affected tissue, leading to pain, inflammation and loss of function.
The PAPIMI’s Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field is believed to help increase the cellular electrical signal, by inducing negative ions into the body at the cellular and sub-cellular level. This may speed up the healing process.
What is the Procedure?
PAPIMI sessions are non-invasive, non-toxic and usually painless (although discomfort may be felt in damaged tissues, which may help to pinpoint the problem.) While you lie fully clothed on a massage table, the transmitter loop is held over various parts of your body, emitting an ionic magnetic field in short pulses. These electromagnetic pulses penetrate deep tissue, passing completely through your body.
