With over 40 years of clinical experience, Joe Sutich has dedicated his career to helping people achieve better health through evidence-based natural medicine, nutritional therapy, and personalised healthcare. As the founder of Advanced Natural Medicine, Joe has supported thousands of people throughout New Zealand by combining traditional naturopathic principles with modern functional medicine, testing and integrative healthcare.
Joe believes that true healing begins by understanding the underlying causes of illness rather than simply managing symptoms. Every consultation is focused on listening, investigating, and developing an individualised treatment plan that addresses the unique needs of each person.
Throughout his career, Joe has continued to expand his knowledge and clinical expertise, integrating nutritional medicine, lifestyle interventions, and advanced therapies to support optimal health outcomes. He works collaboratively with GPs, specialists, and other healthcare professionals where appropriate and can arrange referrals for further investigations, including blood tests, X-rays, MRIs, ultrasounds, and specialist assessments when additional information is needed.

Christine Shannon is a Registered Naturopath and Western Medical Herbalist who is passionate about helping people of all ages achieve better health through personalised, evidence-based natural healthcare. She believes that every person is unique and that the most effective treatment plans are those tailored to an individual’s health history, lifestyle, goals, and current health concerns.
Christine has experience supporting a wide variety of health concerns, including Digestive/Intestinal Health, Food Intolerances, Fatigue, Stress, Anxiety, Sleep Disorders, Women’s Health, Children’s Health, Conception and Pregnancy, Immune Health, including Autoimmune and Allergies, Skin Conditions, Weight Management, Thyroid Disorders, Cardio-respiratory Health and Healthy Ageing.
Christine takes a compassionate, and practical approach to healthcare, working closely with each client to understand the underlying factors contributing to their symptoms. She also has extensive experience interpreting bloodwork, and working with individuals with special needs, feeding/ communication challenges, and chronic disease, allowing her to provide inclusive and supportive care for people of all abilities and life stages.
As both a mother and an enthusiastic gardener, Christine has a strong interest in holistic and preventative healthcare. She enjoys helping individuals and families make practical, achievable lifestyle changes that can have a lasting impact on their health and quality of life.

Dr. Agustin Okamura
M.D., Ozone Therapy Certified, Pain Management with Ozone Certified
Dr. Agustin Okamura graduated from Medical School in 2002 (he is not Registered in New Zealand.) He is a trained Ozone Therapist, with many years’ experience in this field. He has delivered workshops on Ozone Therapy Procedures.
Ozone Therapy is used in a vast number of disorders with inflammatory and autoimmune components (including cancer support). Agustin’s background as a trained Doctor helps him to have an understanding of the medical aspects of our client’s situations.
Agustin is registered with the New Zealand Natural Medicine Association (NZNMA) and is an executive member of the Ozone Therapy Association of NZ (OTANZ).
Agustin also has further training in the application of Ozone to treat chronic pain in joints, tendons and ligaments with positive results in the treatment of chronic lumbar pain.
Agustin has a passion for helping clients through challenging medical conditions. His calm, respectful demeanor and his gentle application of Ozone and Hydrogen therapy has been appreciated by many of his clients.
