Astragalus, traditionally used in Chinese medicine, along with zinc and vitamin D, helps maintain healthy immune function. Zinc supports the development and function of neutrophils and natural killer cells, while vitamin D enhances the first line of defence against microorganisms.
Reduces Severity of URTIs:
Vitamin C and reishi mushroom provide symptom relief by reducing the severity of URTIs. Reishi is also used to relieve excess mucus in the nose and throat.
Liquorice root, with its saponins, decreases mucus viscosity and provides an expectorant effect, assisting in the relief of bronchial congestion.
