In a clinical trial involving 1634 PMS patients, 93% of participants taking vitex, reported a significant decrease or total cessation of their PMS symptoms after the three month trial. Vitex’s PMS-relieving actions are thought to be due to it binding to dopamine receptors and inhibiting prolactin. Elevated prolactin may inhibit corpus luteal development, reducing the secretion of progesterone in the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle.
Ginger: Studies have shown that ginger may reduce menstrual pain via its anti-inflammatory actions.

Withania (Ashwagandha): exerts anti-stress effects which may improve resilience, supporting those suffering mood changes throughout the cycle.

Warnings

This product contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded.
